Dr. K.D. Verma, an eminent academician & Researcher dedicated for the development of the Nano Science & Technology and Computer Engineering has an outstanding educational record throughout; He always stood first division throughout his educational carrier and is a Gold Medalist student of his time, he is recipient of national scholarship during his education.
Dr. Verma rose to the post of assistant professor (University lecturer of that time) in University Campus in the age of 21 years, maybe the youngest assistant professor in his area. He completed B.Sc. & M. Sc. with First Division in 1986 & 1988 respectively, M. Phil. with high first division in 1989, M. Tech. with high first division and awarded Ph.D. also (He Earned his All Degrees from Accredited Universities with high grade by NAAC-an Apex body of Govt. of India).
He has more than 20 years of teaching & research experience. During this period Prof. Verma has served in the various administrative capacities also. He has served as Dean of Students Welfare, Chief Proctor, Convener U.G.C. Cell, Games Superintendent, and member of University Flying Squad for conducting fair examinations, Examiner for evaluating Ph.D. Thesis of various Universities, Examine for Theory as well as practical papers for various Universities and several other important capacities.
He has more than 50 research papers in his credit; He has published several papers in the journals having very high ISI IMPACT FACTOR.
He is Editor and Reviewer of various referred International journals of high repute.
Dr. Verma the Founder Chairman of Material Science Research Laboratory(MSRL) is going to establish one more advanced research laboratory namely Mobile and Nano Computing Research Laboratory(MNCRL). He has research collaborations with various International research labs/ groups and actively contributing in the research activities. He is member of various International Associations like ACM (Association for Computing Machinery-CSTA), Societies and Scientific Committees.
Dr. Verma guided several research scholars for their Ph.D. and M. Tech. thesis in the fields of Physics, Material Science, Nano-Technology and Computer Science & Engineering. Currently he is guiding 06 Ph. D. research scholars for their Ph.D. degree. He has completed several Research projects as Principal Investigator sponsored by various Government agencies of international repute and presently 02 Research Projects are going on under his Principal Investigation.
Dr. Verma has already ORGANIZED A CONFERENCE as CONVENER in 2009 and going to organize another INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE in his area of expertise shortly.
He has been invited from several institutions and conferences of high repute to deliver expert lecturers/ invited expert talks and invited speech in diverse fields.
Presently he is working as an Associate Professor in department of physics and at S.V. College of Post Graduate studies and research (A Premier College of Post Graduate Studies & Research Established in 1947, Funded by U.G.C. under 2f & 12(B) and Accredited with high grade by NAAC- an apex body of Government of India), Aligarh, India.
Currently he is engaged in handling the research projects sponsored from various Government Agencies, Monitoring Research activities in Material Science Research Laboratory as well as in the Department of Physics, Guiding Ph.D. Research Scholars, in the emerging fields of Material Science, Nano-Technology and Computer Science & Engineering like DMS, Nano thin films, Nano Oxide Materials, Nano Computing, Nano Sensors wireless & Nano Communication Networks, Mobile Computing, Soft computing, Optimized memory devices, Network and Information Security.
